Lease Operator

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lease Operator with hands-on oil and gas production experience and exposure to well flow/flowback operations. This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining producing wells and associated production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating production facilities and a working knowledge of flowing wells, separators, chokes, pressure monitoring, and production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate oil and gas wells and production facilities.
• Perform routine lease rounds and inspect wells, tank batteries, separators, vessels, and associated equipment.
• Monitor well flow, pressures, fluid levels, and production rates.
• Operate and make adjustments to chokes, valves, separators, and other production equipment as needed.
• Assist with well startups, shut-ins, and bringing wells online.
• Monitor flowing wells and identify abnormal pressure, flow, or production conditions.
• Troubleshoot basic production and equipment issues and coordinate repairs when necessary.
• Gauge tanks, record production data, and maintain accurate daily operating records.
• Identify leaks, equipment failures, spills, or other operational concerns and report them promptly.
• Coordinate with field personnel, maintenance teams, water haulers, and other service providers.
• Follow all company safety procedures, environmental requirements, and operating practices.
• Maintain clean and safe well sites and production facilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ yrs. of Lease Operator experience required. 
• Experience with well flow or flowback operations required.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 
• Valid US Driver's License with acceptable driving record required.
• Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
• Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stopping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
• Understanding of environmental and safe work practices.
