Learning Management Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Learning Management Specialist based in the United States.

This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration and optimization of a learning management system in a fully remote environment.
You will help ensure reliable delivery of organization-wide learning programs and a seamless experience for learners and stakeholders.
The position combines technical LMS administration, user support, content management, testing, and quality assurance.
You will collaborate with HRIS teams, content creators, LMS specialists, and cross-functional partners to deliver effective learning solutions.
The role offers opportunities to improve platform functionality, streamline processes, and introduce system enhancements.
Success requires strong technical problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies.

Accountabilities

• Administer, configure, and customize the LMS on a daily basis, identifying opportunities to improve functionality, efficiency, and user experience.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for LMS-related questions and technical issues, investigating root causes and resolving or escalating problems as appropriate.

• Review system configurations, test learner experiences, and perform quality assurance checks to confirm that new content, features, and launches are ready.

• Upload, organize, configure, and maintain learning content, courses, and learning paths while ensuring functionality and quality.

• Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and related access requirements accurately and securely.

• Partner with content owners and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure learning content aligns with business objectives and governance standards.

• Monitor platform activity, validate data quality, and produce reports and analytics that support informed learning and business decisions.

• Stay current with LMS capabilities, integrated technologies, and emerging learning technology trends, communicating relevant enhancements and changes to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with HRIS, LMS, and other cross-functional teams to support projects and continuously improve the learning technology environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, instructional design, instructional technology, management information systems, or a related field preferred.

• At least 3 years of experience in LMS administration, learning technology, technical support, or a closely related area.

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience administering Docebo; 2 years of experience is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of LMS management, including content authoring, database management, authentication, integrations, analytics, reporting, and system configuration.

• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex technical issues and develop practical solutions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to stakeholders at different levels.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, planning, prioritization, and task management abilities.

• Ability to adapt to new technologies, processes, and changing priorities with a proactive and collaborative approach.

• Familiarity with tools such as Smartsheet for request tracking and workflow automation is a plus.

Benefits

• Salary: $80,000–$125,000 annually, with eligibility for a bonus or incentive program.
