The Donelson-Hermitage YMCA is Now Hiring for a Learn to Swim Instructor, Middays
Position Type: Part-time
Pay Range starts at $14 per hour (or more depending on experience)
Shifts: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-1pm

As a Learn to Swim Instructor, you'll create a fun, safe, and encouraging environment while teaching life-changing water safety and swim skills. What You’ll Do:
- Teach swim lessons with energy, enthusiasm, and encouragement
- Ensure the safety and success of all class participants
- Provide feedback to swimmers and communicate progress with parents
- Create engaging lesson plans and help participants build confidence in the water
- Support a welcoming, positive YMCA experience for every swimmer and family
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum Age: 16
- Passion for helping others learn and grow
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Intermediate swimming ability
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Lifeguard and Swim Instructor certifications preferred
