Compensation & Schedule

💰 Pay Rate: $60/hr
⏱️ Overtime: Additional hours available as project needs dictate
🏨 Per Diem: None - locals only
🎯 Completion Bonus: $150/month
💵 Pay Frequency: Weekly
⏰ Schedule: Monday-Friday | 48 Hours/Week
📈 Additional Schedule Details: Potential Saturday work (8-hour shifts) as project demands require.

This role offers the opportunity to work autonomously while leading a small safety team and partnering closely with the Site Supervisor and Superintendent on a high-profile, fast-paced project.

Required Qualifications

✔ STS-C, CHST, ASP, or CSP Certification
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Safety or acceptable equivalent experience
✔ Minimum 3+ years of construction safety experience
✔ Previous data center construction experience
✔ Experience leading safety efforts on active construction projects
✔ Strong communication, leadership, and field engagement skills
✔ Ability to work independently while managing a small onsite team

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Lead Safety Representative experience
⭐ Mechanical, electrical, or mission-critical construction experience
⭐ Experience supporting large-scale data center builds
⭐ Strong knowledge of contractor safety management and compliance programs
⭐ Advanced experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations
⭐ Additional BCSP credentials

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide daily field safety oversight for active data center construction operations
• Lead project safety initiatives while supporting a small onsite safety team
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
• Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation
• Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project
