Lime is seeking a seasoned and visionary Product Manager to lead our Payments Experience, the team behind powering seamless, secure, and scalable transactions for millions of riders worldwide. In this critical role, you’ll drive the evolution of our global payments experience and fraud strategy across 250+ cities and 5 continents. You will shape product vision, define strategy, and partner with Engineering, Data Science, and cross-functional teams to deliver safe, reliable, and intuitive payment experiences while protecting Lime against fraud and revenue loss. We are looking for product managers who thoughtfully integrate modern AI tools into their work: using them to move faster, sharpen customer and market insight, improve synthesis, and raise the quality of product decisions while maintaining strong judgment and ownership.

This is a remote position with a requirement for candidates to reside in the United States to maintain effective collaboration across teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the end-to-end Payments Experience across the rider journey, from onboarding and trip start to post-trip billing and subscriptions (e.g., LimePrime).

• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for payments, aligning with company goals to grow engagement and improve unit economics.

• Improve conversion and reliability by reducing payment friction across key rider moments, including onboarding, trip start, and subscription renewals.

• Lead expansion of local payment methods (LPMs) to unlock new riders and markets, including underbanked and international users.

• Partner with Data Science and Fraud teams to build intelligent risk systems (e.g., pre-authentication models, fraud detection, revenue recovery) that maximize trips while minimizing losses.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Finance, Accounting, and Legal, as well as across other product domains, to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-quality payment solutions.

• Define and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the payment systems in terms of performance, fraud prevention, uptime and user satisfaction.

• Leverage AI-assisted tools and workflows thoughtfully to accelerate research, synthesis, prototyping, analysis, and decision support while validating outputs and maintaining accountability for decisions.

   

About You:

• 6–10 years of product management experience, owning consumer-facing products at scale.

• Direct experience in payments, fintech, marketplace transactions, or fraud/risk systems.

• Proven track record of driving measurable business impact (e.g., conversion, revenue, retention, or cost reduction).

• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and interpret data to inform decisions and prioritize tradeoffs.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams across Engineering, Design, Data Science, and business stakeholders in fast-paced environments.

• Curiosity and a growth mindset, with a strong interest in leveraging AI to build better products, move faster, and unlock new capabilities.

• Proficiency with AI tools for research, synthesis, analysis, prototyping, prioritization support, and product communication, plus the ability to validate outputs, identify risks, protect sensitive information, and maintain accountability for product decisions.

   

Preferred Experience:

• Experience building or scaling global payment platforms (PSPs, wallets, subscriptions, BNPL, etc.). Doing this at a late stage startup is a plus.

• Familiarity with fraud prevention, chargebacks, KYC/AML, or revenue protection systems.

• Experience in two-sided marketplaces, mobility, or high-frequency consumer apps.

The base salary range listed reflects what Lime reasonably expects to offer for this role, with the final base salary determined by objective factors such as the candidate’s location and relevant skills and experience. Depending on the position, the total compensation package may also include discretionary annual performance bonus opportunities and equity, subject to applicable plan terms and eligibility requirements.
