Summary
The Lead Generator is responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls and emails while maintaining a prospect database. They must identify key players, understand customer needs, and route qualified leads to Sales Executives.
Job Description
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Relentlessly source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls and emails.
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales Executives for further development and closure.
- Achieve cold call goals.
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- High School Degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Three to five years proven experience.
- Prior telemarketing experience highly desired.
- Track record of over-achieving quota.
- Strong yet pleasant phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
- Ability to overcome objections or rejection with a smile.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Experience working with a CRM.
- Tenacity and drive to generate record-breaking revenue.
- Competitiveness and desire for continual improvement.
