Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze requirements to determine developmental feasibility.
• Propose solutions using MVC and MVVM design architectures to address problem definitions and requirements effectively. Assist in resolving critical technical and system issues.
• Utilize Cocoa design patterns, SwiftUI, UIKit, Angular, and Ionic to develop the front end of the software application.
• Write unit test cases using Swift XCTest Kit to ensure application stability and performance.
• Ensure the application’s responsiveness across various devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and laptops.
• Develop device-specific features such as push notifications, location-based data, and local storage management, while enhancing portal layouts to improve customer experience.
• Build robust UI and business logic using Swift and Objective-C, with a focus on security due to the integration of payment processing.
• Use Service SDK and Hero framework to integrate a customizable ChatBot for the consumer portal and document the template for easy developer customization.
• Develop all UI components as plug-and-play modules, utilizing Xibs, storyboards, and Swift modules for each component.
• Enhance application performance and operations through systems analysis and recommend improvements in both code and processes. Implement Core Data Cache to optimize bandwidth usage and improve application speed and performance.
• Integrate analytics using third-party libraries and custom code to enhance user experience.
• Analyze UI/UX designs for usability and seamlessly integrate them into the application.
• Explore the use of CocoPods libraries to introduce new features via external SDKs.
• Integrate Kibana and Firebase for logging user information and tracking the user flow in alpha testing.
• Develop and document solutions by creating clear code documentation, flowcharts on wiki, layouts, diagrams, charts, and code comments.
• Automate iOS application documentation using Jazzy, providing a visual representation of component and service injections to help developers understand the application's architecture.
• Utilize Apple DocC to share code through rich and engaging references.
• Document customizable components to guide developers through the customization procedures.
• Develop solutions by reviewing use case documents for the WinLink project, consulting with users, studying system flows, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the software development lifecycle.
• Telecommuting and working from home permitted from anywhere in the U.S. Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.
• Domestic travel required approximately 10% of the time to various client sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or Information Systems followed by 6 years of progressive experience in the job offered or 6 years of progressive experience in the related occupations of Software Engineer, Software Developer, or equivalent.
• Prior experience must include 6 years of experience in iOS development and Angular development using Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Swift Concurrency;
• 6 years of experience with iOS application architecture, performance profiling and testing using Instruments and XCTest including UI tests, iOS security using Keychain, CI/CD for iOS;
• 6 years of experience with automated App Store release processes, CallKit, Push Notifications using APNs and User Notifications, Push Kit/VoIP;
• 6 years of experience with Background Tasks, Core Location and MapKit, WebKit, Local Authentication using Face ID and Touch ID;
• 6 years of experience with WidgetKit such as Live Activities using ActivityKit, SiriKit or App Intents;
• 6 years of experience with CloudKit and local persistence using Core Data or SwiftData, Angular Router;
• 6 years of experience with HttpClient, Reactive Forms, Signals, RxJS, Angular Material, NgRx, Service Worker, and Angular Animations;
• 6 years of experience with Azure DevOps Boards for work item tracking and Agile planning;
• 6 years of experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines for build and release automation; and
• 6 years of experience with Contentful as a headless CMS including content modeling and content delivery integration via APIs using REST and GraphQL.
• Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.
• Domestic travel is not part of the role but may be required to various client sites based on need.
