What You Will Do
Receive, inspect, and store meat properly upon delivery to ensure meat quality.
Prepare, stock, cut, weigh, and wrap meat products.
Maintain the organization, rotation, and cleanliness of back stock areas.
Ensure proper product handling to control shrinkage and waste.
Review inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damage.
Assist as needed in the preparation of food products, catering, and special orders.
Produce and submit receiving records on a timely basis.
Maintain meat products inventory according to anticipated sales and seasonal needs.
Perform minor accounting duties.
Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean.
Follow daily cutting lists and complete work in the allotted time.
Any other duties assigned by management.
QualificationsWho We Are Looking For
GED/High school or 2 years in culinary experience required
Dexterity and operational excellence when cutting items.
Meat product knowledge and time management skills
Ability to work in high-pressure situations.
Must maintain a high level of cleanliness and be aware of all food safety standards
Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Must be detail-oriented.
ServSafe and Food Handler Certification are required
This role requires
Must have a flexible schedule including the ability to work on nights, weekends, and holidays
Complete position requirements in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle a variety of kitchen equipment safely
