Lawn Crew Worker

Description

The Lawn Crew Worker performs ground maintenance and landscaping services at PHD Services client sites, including mowing, trimming, edging, debris removal, and seasonal grounds upkeep. This role works as part of a crew under the direction of a crew lead or supervisor, often traveling between multiple client locations during a scheduled shift. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer and company guidelines. 
• Maintain lawns, beds, and grounds in a clean, professional, client-ready condition. 
• Perform seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow/ice management, mulching, and irrigation checks as assigned. 
• Identify and report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or property damage to the supervisor. 
• Load, transport, and unload equipment and materials between sites as needed. 
• Follow all client-specific rules, access procedures, and safety protocols. 
• Maintain accurate time records and complete required documentation (e.g., services logs, equipment checklists). 
• Communicate professionally with crew members, supervisors, and client representatives. 

Requirements

• Prior grounds maintenance or landscaping experience preferred but not required; training provided. 
• Valid driver’s license may be required for certain crew or driving positions. 
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work effectively as part of a team. 
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
