Landscape Crew Member

Job Details: Job Location: EU Houston - Houston, TX, Position Type: Part-Time, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Days, JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for preparing and maintaining landscape areas per contract specifications.
Qualifications: ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mow grass using power mowers.

Trim and edge using power weed eater.

5%

Water lawns, trees, and plants using portable sprinkler system, hose

Haul and/or spread topsoil, mulch, straw or pea gravel in lawns or beds.

15%

Pick up trash and debris by hand or using a poker stick, rake or broom. Bag and dispose of trash.

    15%

Operate blower to clean sidewalks and driveway.

5%

  Clear beds for planting and mulching.

*Perform additional labor as needed for special projects or improvements

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Preferred, but not required; will train if program needs allow.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.

LICENSES: None required. Valid Driver’s License a plus.

VEHICLE: None required. Must be able to get to and from work as scheduled.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to work assigned schedules. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.  Ability to pass a background checks may be NEEDED depending on contract.
