Lactation Consultant - ProHealth Care- .8 FTE- Days

What You Will Do:

Provides support to the mother in breastfeeding their infant.  Provision of in and out patient breastfeeding education, support and care.  Management of telephone triage of breastfeeding phone calls, breast pump rental/sales and nursing bra fitting/sales as well as presentation of prenatal breastfeeding classes.

What You Will Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) with plan to take IBCLC exam
• Basic Life support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Preferred – International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
