Job Description

As a Lab Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our laboratory operations by ensuring accurate and efficient specimen processing, transportation, and tracking. Your work directly contributes to the timely and precise delivery of diagnostic results, supporting both patients and healthcare providers in our mission to provide exceptional care.

• Perform routine laboratory support procedures, including order entry, specimen pick-up, transportation, tracking, receipt, and processing.
• Operate and maintain pre and post-analytic laboratory equipment, including laboratory automation systems.
• Interact professionally and courteously with patients, laboratory staff, and caregivers.
• Utilize information systems to efficiently manage tasks and ensure accuracy in laboratory processes.
• Occasionally perform phlebotomy services, if required at your site.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
