KS1074 - Full-Time Spanish Speaking Traveling Butler/HM - Miami/NY/Travel

Overview

A loving Miami-based couple is seeking a full-time, Spanish-speaking traveling butler/house manager to support their busy lifestyle.  The couple travels several times a year to the Northeast and internationally. This role includes staff housing provided at all locations, if needed.  The main residence is Miami (October - May), with summers in the Hamptons (May through October), and holidays split between NYC and Cabo. The candidate should be comfortable traveling extensively with the couple and providing consistent service at each location.  This position is hiring immediately.

Responsibilities

Miami Residence:

• Driving the principal around to appointments, errands, etc.
• House management skills required at the Miami property.
• Managing two local housekeepers.
• Heavy lifting when needed.
• Ordering food for the principals and reheating at times.
• Upkeep of the maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles, gas, etc.
• Eyes and ears on the ground for the estate manager who is not based in Miami.
• Minor repairs and handyman skills.  (ie.., changing light bulbs)
• Vendor management.  Hiring vendors to handle plumbing issues, HVAC issues, etc.
• Staff housing is provided.

 Southampton Residence:

• More team-based as it is a fully staffed home (Housekeeper, chef, driver, property manager).
• Meal planning with the chef.
• Hospitality service and butler needs required.
• Formal dining and service.
• Staff housing is provided.

 Other Travel:

• Cabo - Thanksgiving
• NYC - Other Holidays
• Hospitality service and butler needs required at both
• Formal dining and service
• Housing/accommodations provided at both

General responsibilites:

• House management skills

• Daily maintenance and upkeep at the current residence

• Five-star level service and hospitality
• Travel research, arrangements, and logistics
• Packing/unpacking for trips
• Anticipate principal/guests' needs
• Maintain protocols and procedures
• Formal dining and wine service knowledge
• Ability to make cocktails for guests
• Gatekeeper with staff and vendors at other properties
• Driving the principals to/from appointments, airports, etc
• Consistently ensuring the highest level of service is provided

Requirements

• Legal to work in the US
• Clean and valid driver's license required
• Hospitality background is a plus
• The ability to speak Spanish is required
• Proactive
• Able to pivot and thrive in chaos
• Prior experience as a butler or house manager in a private high-end home
• Extensive travel and flexibility with schedule
