KROC Associate

Job Details: Job Location: TX-Kerrville KROC - Kerrville, TX, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Category: Recreation, Schedule / Hours: Day, Evening, and Saturday Availability 23- 29 hours per week 

This Position is responsible for:

The Kroc Associate is focused on member acquisition and experience in the areas of Membership, Recreation and Fitness. These staff members are responsible for participating in the creation of a welcoming, helpful, and safe environment where individuals and families can learn, grow, and thrive. Oversees the daily use of the fitness center and equipment by members, guests, and visitors; ensures safe, professional, and enjoyable operation of the fitness area; ensures the safety, cleanliness and proper maintenance of the fitness facility and equipment; opens and/or closes the gym and basic set up for events on a daily basis

Key Responsibilities: 

 Provides Excellent Customer Service and Experience to Members, Guests, and Colleagues
Operates the POS System
Maintains Knowledge Necessary to be Proficient
Performs other duties as required

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write and communicate the English language
Ability to demonstrate good physical condition and effort associated with walking, running, standing, and moderate-to-advanced weight lifting in a fitness center environment including the ability to meet the demands of the gymnasium and athletic field programs.
Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull moderately heavy (25-50 lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment. Moderate mobility: duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent changes basis.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:: Education and Experience

  Must be at least 18 years of age.
  High School diploma or G.E.D. Or
  Experience in customer relations and leading fitness and recreational activities preferred Or
  Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
