Knott's Scary Farm Guest Control Associate

$16.90 / hour

Maintains lines for the Knott's Scary Farm event in an efficient and safe manner, ensuring lines do not block walkways. Performs duties related to crowd control, guest service, and assists with emergency evacuation. This role is compensated at the rate of $16.90. Please be advised that this position ends on October 31st, which is the last day of this year's Knott's Scary Farm event.

Age requirement: 18+ 

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety in queues, mazes and attractions.
• Assists supervisors and guests with standard exiting procedures.
• Answers guest's questions, give directions, and provide a safe and friendly controlled environment.
• Cleans and maintains attraction and queue.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
• Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.

Qualifications

• Must be available for all Haunt nights assigned.Knott's Scary Farm event dates are as follows*:
  • (September)  17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26, 27
  • (October)  1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, 31*Event dates are subject to change

• Must be able to work with employees and guests in a positive, productive, and professional manner.
• Must be able to work effectively under pressure and diffuse tense situations such as line jumping and attraction closures.
• Basic arithmetic, counting and time keeping are required.
• Candidates should be able to comfortably stand for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to be exposed to entertainment special effects such as, but not limited to, loud noises, fog and strobing lights.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
