Knit EK Operator

Job Details: Job Location: 1 Cap America Drive - Fredericktown, MO, Salary Range: $16.00 - $16.00Hourly, Position Summary: 

Operates and maintains knitting machines to produce various styles of knit caps.  Fast paced and detail oriented.  Maintain highest acceptable quality in process and finished product.

Essential Functions:  

Operate a knit machine to set up product at the best quality possible.
Carefully reviews paper work for daily orders that include details such as; quantities, colors, due dates, and if any specific notes that may be shown..
Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary.

Working at a fast pace to ensure daily production goals is met.

Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

 Must have the ability to work closely with other people. 
Must be punctual and have a positive work attitude.
Detail oriented
Must be willing to cross-train in various positions. 
Some sitting, standing, walking, lifting (over 75 lbs.), bending, twisting, reaching, stretching, pushing, and pulling required.
