Summary
Maintain general kitchen and back-of-house cleanliness, including dishwashing and garbage removal. Assist with food transport and replenishing clean dishes for buffet attendants and servers.
Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
- General kitchen, back of house cleanliness, removes all garbage and boxes
- dishwashing/Pot washing
- Floor sanitation
- Cleaning maintenance on all kitchen equipment and returns to proper place
- Follows direction of lead kitchen utility/executive kitchen steward at all times
- Transports food from ship to shore and vice versa
- Assists receiving in putting food products away
- Assists buffet attendants and servers in replenishing clean dishes and silverware
- Wears appropriate uniform - white shirt & pants, apron, GVC ball cap or hair net, slip resistant shoes, name badge, and gaming badge
- If Team Member is a minor, must adhere to all Indiana Labor Laws

- Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required: Chemical handling as per company video; ability to communicate effectively with others; understands and complies with all Company and departmental rules and regulations

Our strategy depends on prudent spending, but cost controls are just part of the story. We evaluate each property and all of its related assets, from our buildings to parking to undeveloped land. Where we see opportunities to maximize profits, we will invest for the longer term, whether it’s in new hotel rooms and suites, better parking facilities, new guest amenities or improved access to our casinos.
