Catholic Health’s St Catherine of Siena Nursing & Rehabilitation have served the residents of the Smithtown area for more than 50 years. St. Catherine is located in the heart of Long Island, Smithtown. The Long Term care facility is a 240 bed facility. Our nurses, physicians and support staff are devoted to providing advanced health care in an environment of compassion to our employees, patients, residents, their families and our community. DIETARY AIDE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Dietary Aide assists with food preparation, meal service, and ensuring dietary needs are met for residents or patients in healthcare settings. The responsibilities include preparing food, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide quality nutritional care.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate or GED equivalency required. Food service experience preferred. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to lift, bend, and turn. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and push heavy food carts.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work quickly, accurately, and efficiently. Nursing Home/ Long Term Care experience preferred.

Salary Range

USD $23.19 - USD $23.19 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
