ROLE OVERVIEW
- Are you passionate about building strong customer relationships while driving business growth? As our new Key Account Manager Industrial Automation, you will combine strategic account management with proactive business development.
- This is not a traditional Key Account Manager role. Alongside managing strategic customer relationships, you will actively identify, develop and win new business opportunities and cover a wide variety of customers.
- Location: Scottland, remote-based. Ideally located in a major industrial region (Glasgow or Edinburgh).
Travel: Average 4 days per week including occasional overnight stays.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities.
· Manage the full sales cycle using Salesforce.
· Develop territory growth plans.
· Build strategic customer relationships
· Conduct business reviews.
· Lead pricing, contract and negotiation activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Degree or comparable qualification.
· Experience in sales, key account management or business development.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills.
· Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
