The Dog Stop — Kennel Attendant

Position Summary
The Canine Handler/Kennel Attendant is responsible for providing attentive care to dogs and maintaining a clean, safe facility. Team members spend their shifts in daycare playrooms and kennel areas supervising dogs and supporting daily operations. This position reports to the Dog Care Manager.

Responsibilities

•  Supervise dogs in daycare and kennel areas 
•  Monitor behavior and ensure safe interactions 
•  Provide attentive care and maintain comfort of dogs 
•  Clean and sanitize daycare rooms, kennels, and equipment 
•  Move dogs safely between areas 
•  Report health or behavior concerns to management 

Qualifications

•  Passion for working with dogs 
•  Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments 
•  Reliable, attentive, and team-oriented 
•  Animal care experience preferred but not required 

Physical Requirements

•  Ability to stand for extended periods 
•  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs 
•  Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
