About working at Edpuzzle

Working at Edpuzzle means joining a global team dedicated to enhancing education for all. Picture a place where you can connect with your teammates, whether remotely or in person, whenever you need support. A place where one day you're helping shape one of the biggest edtech platforms in the world, and the next day you're doing a teambuilding activity with your coworkers. A place where everyone has been selected because they're the best at what they do, and where your manager and team trust your decisions fully.

It's no surprise that in our latest employee satisfaction survey, Work-Life Balance (92%), Leadership (85%), and Employee Engagement (84%) were highlighted as our top drivers, because we genuinely care about creating an environment where people can thrive, feel supported, and do their best work. A place where you're encouraged to learn and grow, because education is the cornerstone of everything we do.

About the process

The goal of our interview process is to learn about each other. Each step is structured to help us understand your unique talents and contributions while offering you insight into our team and culture. For a detailed breakdown of our recruitment process, please refer to our Selection Process Guide which outlines every step of our candidate journey. A dedicated member of our team will support you through each step, and you'll have the opportunity to meet various Edpuzzlers along the way.

About the role

We’re looking for our next Sales Representative to join our Sales team in the United States. As a self-motivated professional, you will drive “new business” growth in Florida and the surrounding states. You will act as an Edpuzzle evangelist to communicate with public schools in the region, acting as a subject matter expert in Edtech sales. You will discover and pursue new sales prospects, negotiate deals, and maintain customer satisfaction. You have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable reaching out to potential customers.

About the job:

  • Create new business opportunities through active prospecting, outbound campaigns, and outreach to untapped districts to build your pipeline and acquire new accounts.

  • Communicate with schools in your region, understanding their needs and goals, and become an Edpuzzle expert who knows the key metrics driving new business.

  • Reach out to prospective schools in resourceful and engaging ways across multiple channels — calls, outbound campaigns, follow-ups — to coordinate meetings and spark interest with dozens of prospects daily.

  • Seek out face-to-face meetings with IT coaches, curriculum leaders, or school administrators.

  • Discover how schools in your region are organized, allocate funding, and approve purchases.

  • Own the full sales process, from developing strategy to closing, in order to achieve your goals.

  • Maintain a strong pipeline, logging all activity and opportunities accurately in Salesforce.

  • Achieve business goals and targets, managing OKRs, KPIs, and ARR.

  • Meet regularly with your manager to review status and plan next steps, growing from daily task-setting into full autonomy over time.

  • Manage renewals for existing school licenses to ensure continued satisfaction and adoption, while prioritizing new business growth.

  • Travel within Florida and surrounding states to conferences and meetings up to 50% of the time.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

About you:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales development and prospecting — ideally 2+ years, preferably in K-12.

  • Knowledge of the school sales cycle and educational purchasing system in your region.

  • Passion for sales, supporting students and educators.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal, sales, and customer service skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve, and function well in a high-paced, at times stressful, environment.

  • Persistence and grit: you don't give up until you get what you want, and you adapt flexibly to new strategies.

  • Self-motivated: you can stay on-task while working alone, and you're a team player who looks for ways to learn from and help teammates.

  • Strategic thinker, comfortable identifying and qualifying new business opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Unintimidated by new technology and quick to pick up new skills.

Bonus skills:

  • Previous experience teaching, coaching, or training teachers preferred.

  • Consultative selling experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • … or another amazing skill you bring to the table that we haven’t thought of yet!

What’s it like to work remotely?

  • Work from the comfort of your own home

  • Meet with your manager and team via video calls on Google Meet or Slack

  • Connect with coworkers via Slack (with channels for work and for fun!)

  • To enjoy our remote work policy, you’ll need high-speed internet access

About the company

Edpuzzle

At Edpuzzle, we've been on both sides of the classroom, because so many of us started our journey as teachers. In fact, Edpuzzle was born out of a real need when our CEO who was working as a math teacher had a classroom full of students who were tuned out. This challenge was the seed that would grow into Edpuzzle: the realization that engaging, interactive content could inspire students to take an active role in their learning.

Today, educators worldwide use Edpuzzle to create interactive lessons that spark curiosity and track real learning, helping them have more time to focus on what matters most: their students. We’re proud to stand with teachers, building tools that fit the needs of real classrooms and supporting them in delivering an excellent education every day.
