Job Details: Job Location: Cannon School - Concord, NC, Position Type: Seasonal, Salary Range: Undisclosed, An Athletic Coach at Cannon School is responsible for motivating and teaching Cannon School athletes to compete at their highest level in various sports.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promoting a positive team atmosphere
Enhancing athletic skills of the athletes
Ensure the safety of the students while playing sports
Ensure core values of Cannon School are consistently presented and enforced
Provide guidance and support to all athletes
Maintain a professional relationship with athletes, coaches, faculty and staff
Adhere to the policies, procedures, and guiding principles of the Cannon School Coaches Handbook
Qualifications: YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Prior coaching experience required
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree preferred
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to communicate with athletes, other coaches and faculty/staff in a courteous and respectful manner
Ability to adapt to various sporting event environments
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work in a team environment
