Are you looking to join a dedicated team in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment? We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian member to join our team on the beautiful island of Kauai. The custodian plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Key responsibilities include performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting, as well as sanitizing, cleaning restrooms, replenishing supplies, managing waste disposal and recycling processes. They may be required to set up or break down furniture for events and ensure that all areas are secure after cleaning. A successful custodian should possess attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, contributing to the overall upkeep and functionality of the building.

-Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Must pass prescreen check.

Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred. Willingness to train.

Valid Hawaii Driver's License preferred.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

Good communication in English and teamwork skills.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.

Capable of performing tasks in any type of weather.

Physically capable of carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling a minimum of 25 pounds to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks such as stretching, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing and pressing.

-Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 6:00AM-2:30PM, Monday and Wednesday 1:00PM-9:30PM (32 hours weekly)
-Hourly pay rate: $17.50

-Location: Kauai (Lihue, HI 96766)
-Employment Type: Part-time
-Position: Custodian
-Schedule: Saturday and Sunday: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (16 hours weekly)
-Hourly pay rate: $17.00
