Career Support Systems (CSS), a Chimes affiliate, is seeking compassionate and dependable Job Coaches to help individuals with disabilities obtain and maintain meaningful employment throughout the Staunton and Harrisonburg Corridor and surrounding communities.

As a Job Coach, you'll provide one-on-one coaching, workplace training, and encouragement that empowers individuals to build confidence, gain independence, and succeed on the job. If you're passionate about helping others and want a career with purpose, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized job coaching and on-site workplace support.
• Teach job-specific skills and reinforce workplace expectations.
• Document daily activities and participant progress.
• Build positive relationships with employers, coworkers, and supported employees.
• Partner with the Lead Employment Consultant to ensure successful employment outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with families, employers, and members of the support team.
• Collaborate with community organizations, schools, and vocational rehabilitation agencies.
• Prepare accurate verbal and written progress reports.

Qualifications:

• Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook and Word).
• Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
