Janitorial Supervisor- Evening

Job Position Description:

Ancient City Janitorial LLC (ServiceMaster Clean) is looking for a motivated and dependable Janitorial Supervisor to lead our cleaning crews in Jacksonville, FL. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll help maintain the high standards our clients count on every day. Supervisor responsibilities include organizing employee shifts, training and motivating team members. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all staff stays on task and complete all assignments to ServiceMaster standards. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of cleaning principles and team management abilities. Work Schedule:

This position is primarily an evening position, Tuesday through Saturday, with a typical scheduled work window of approximately 4pm-10pm and a minimum of 6 hours per day. 

This schedule requires flexibilty , as work hours vary based on business needs. Start and end times may be adjusted as needed due to employee call-outs, training, special projects, or other operational needs. For example, on a particular day, the supervisor may be asked to start later or stay later depending on coverage and business needs. 

Candidates should be comfortable with a flexible evening schedule and occasional extended hours when necessary. 

Responsibilities

• Training cleaners on ServiceMaster’s standards, products, processes and procedures
• Cover call-offs and new accounts until staffed
• Oversees staff performance and ensures all assignments are completed in accordance to set task schedule
• Perform inspections and give constructive performance feedback to staff members
• Assign shifts and make necessary adjustment in case of call off or no shows
• Respond to customer complaints and request in a timely and caring manner
• Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA regulations
• Must be able to communicate in English. Bilingual is a plus 
• Typical work window are 4:00pm – 10:00pm  Tuesday – Saturday. Must be flexible in hours to cover call-offs and vacancies. 
• Other duties may be assigned by management

 
Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
• 3-5 years’ supervisory experience
• Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
• Coordination skills and multi-tasking is a must.
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Must be willing to clean to cover vacancies. This is a working supervisor position
