About the Role:The Korporate Kleansers, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team in St. James, NY! Hours
Monday-Friday 8am-12pm
20hr a week
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of interior spaces including offices, restrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with facility guidelines
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other restroom essentials
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
- Operate and maintain janitorial equipment including floor buffers and industrial vacuums
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
Requirements:
- Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning products, sanitation standards, and safe chemical handling
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
- Must be located in or able to commute to St. James, NY
