Position Summary
Work as part of the IT team to provide a full range of technical support for technology systems throughout the resort. This position supports a diverse technology environment including point-of-sale (POS) systems, RFID equipment, video surveillance, webcams, wired and wireless networks, desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, audio systems, and other technology used throughout resort operations.
Responsibilities include installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, documentation, and troubleshooting of technology systems and equipment. This is a hands-on position that includes both indoor and outdoor work throughout the resort.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide Level 1 technical support for employees and resort operations.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, peripheral, and user-related issues.
Respond to trouble tickets, emails, telephone calls, and in-person requests for technical support.
Document, track, and monitor support tickets to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Install, configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and other computer hardware and peripherals.
Provide support and installation for POS systems, payment devices, printers, RFID equipment, and related peripherals.
Assist with troubleshooting wired and wireless network connectivity issues.
Perform physical installation and maintenance of network cabling, IP cameras, speakers, computer equipment, and other technology infrastructure.
Provide technical support for speakers, amplifiers, music streaming devices, and other audio equipment throughout the resort.
Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, equipment replacements, and other technology-related tasks as directed.
Assist with researching and evaluating hardware and software solutions based on operational needs.
Develop a working knowledge of resort departments, business systems, and daily operations in order to effectively support technology needs.
Maintain accurate documentation of systems, equipment, configurations, and support processes.
Follow established IT procedures and security practices.
Provide superior service to internal and external customers at all times.
Follow Lee Canyon Hospitality Guidelines while interacting with guests and respond to all guests in a courteous and efficient manner.
Assist with technology projects and deployments as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Working knowledge of desktop, laptop, tablet, and peripheral hardware.
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Basic understanding of networking concepts including IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting.
Experience installing or troubleshooting printers, scanners, payment devices, or other peripherals.
Experience with POS, RFID, IP surveillance, structured cabling, or audio systems is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory or similar user and computer management systems is a plus.
Associate degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired.
Ability to clearly and professionally communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
Ability to work independently when necessary while functioning effectively as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Entry-level candidates with relevant education, IT certifications, home-lab experience, or demonstrated technical aptitude are encouraged to apply. A willingness and ability to learn is valued over previous experience with every technology used within the resort.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for distances of up to 50 yards.
Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time, potentially up to 8 hours.
Must be comfortable performing hands-on installation and troubleshooting of technology equipment.
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors throughout the resort.
Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather and temperatures below 32°F for extended periods.
Must be able to travel between buildings and operational areas throughout the resort.
Skiing or snowboarding experience is not required; beginner-level ability is acceptable.
