Position Summary

Under the direction of the Manager of Hosting Services, this individual provides support for hosted data center services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing support for all server computing environments and Identity sources (Active Directory and EntraID).

A successful candidate will be able to manage systems and storage dedicated to hosting of systems, data, and related technologies within our corporate data center as well as remote data centers and globally distributed locations.  This role will be a key contributor to the administration of our data center infrastructure.

Essential Responsibilities

- Executes the team’s objectives for local, global, and cloud data centers.- Administers on prem and cloud platforms and maintains the required configuration- Provides on going technical support for on prem and cloud environments globally to assure cost effective operation.- Implements the change, upgrade, or removal of current systems.- Works with appropriate business partners to implement new infrastructure/systems as required.- Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, and makes recommendations.- Ensures security standards are being met, and takes appropriate steps when deficiencies are uncovered.- Participates in disaster recovery testing.- Remediates incident and service requests. - Drafts operational documentation as requested.- Provide support for the following applications & hardware globally:o Azure IaaS and PaaS Infrastructure and serviceso Microsoft SCCM for patching and server inventoryo Virtualization infrastructure support through SCVMM and vCentero Storage: HPE 3PAR, HPE Alletra, Dell Compellent, HP StoreOnce, NetAppo Hardware: HPE\Dell blades and chassis, Dell\HPE serverso Support global backup process and remediation.o Support Solarwinds Infrastructure globally- Expectations of the role include but are not limited to:o Manage enterprise grade storage systems and infrastructure.o Manage enterprise grade hosting solutions.o Manage hypervisor platforms (compute and storage).o Maintain continuous availability of the environment and contribute to improvement practices.o Perform infrastructure troubleshooting, resolve issues, and document solutions.o Make configuration changes to keep the infrastructure secure and reliable.o Develop automation for routine processes.o Participate in data protection discussions, provide input and make recommendations on solutions to support the enterprise environment.o Be a team player and participate in an on-call rotation.- Additional responsibilities as assigned by department leadership.

Position Requirements

• College Degree in computer science, information sciences or related field and 5 years of experience; OR 8+ years relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware & operating systems (Windows & Linux Server).
• Strong knowledge of HyperV and VMWare
• Strong working knowledge of enterprise backup solutions (e.g., Azure Backup and CommVault).
• Strong working knowledge of Patching and working with Vulnerability remediations (including Tools for remediation ie Ansible, Powershell, Insight Dashboard, Nessus, SCCM/MECM)
• Knowledge of industry standard maintenance practices and monitoring tools is required. Solarwinds preferred.
• Experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Active Directory and Azure EntraID.
• Excellent knowledge of enterprise grade virtualization.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SCVMM and SCCM is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise storage solutions.
• Thorough experience working with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, and firewall basics

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.

Annual salary range is from $92,800.00 to $138,400.00, plus benefits & incentive plan
