Job Summary
The Facility Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for designated repairs and minor equipment maintenance. This includes working with cleaning chemicals, small machines, and related building equipment. Your work directly supports families, children, and members who depend on a safe and well maintained facility.
Core Responsibilities
Performs minor equipment maintenance and manual labor as directed.
Assists with special projects assigned by leadership.
Helps conduct weekly equipment and safety checks.
Moves equipment and heavy objects from one location to another as needed.
Performs other general upkeep duties as needed at the YMCA.
Qualifications: Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of general maintenance or handyman experience
Ability to obtain First Aid certification
Completion of YMCA training upon hire
Bilingual candidates are a plus but not required
