The Opportunity

Exemplar Wealth Advisors is seeking an experienced Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) with an established book of business to join our growing RIA platform.

This opportunity is specifically designed for advisors who have already built a successful client practice and are looking for a better affiliation model, greater flexibility, and the ability to leverage a fully integrated technology and professional services platform.

Rather than simply managing investments, our advisors have the opportunity to deepen existing client relationships and monetize additional services by connecting clients with Exemplar’s broader capabilities in tax, legal, estate planning, insurance, business advisory, capital, and alternative investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) of Exemplar Wealth Advisors.
• Bring and continue to manage an existing book of business and client relationships.
• Grow assets under management and develop new client relationships.
• Provide investment management, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and comprehensive wealth planning.
• Identify additional opportunities to serve existing clients through Exemplar’s integrated professional services platform.
• Build relationships with HNW/UHNW individuals, families, entrepreneurs, executives, and business owners.
• Collaborate with Exemplar professionals across wealth management, tax, legal, insurance, capital markets, and business advisory.
• Utilize Exemplar’s technology and platform to enhance client service, efficiency, and business growth.
• Participate in networking, referrals, and business development activities.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and firm policies.

Qualifications

• Established investment or wealth advisor with an existing book of business.
• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and investment portfolios.
• Series 65 required or ability to satisfy applicable registration requirements.
• Proven ability to retain clients and grow assets under management.
• Strong investment, communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate independently.
• Commitment to a fiduciary, client-first approach.
• Alignment with Exemplar’s values and culture.

Preferred Qualifications

• CFP® designation.
• Experience serving HNW/UHNW clients.
• Significant AUM.
• Experience with alternative investments/private markets.
• Experience with entrepreneurs, business owners, executives, or complex families.
• Existing professional referral network.
• Experience operating within an RIA or independent advisory model.
