Hiring Range:

$32.87 - $59.17

(based on a full time schedule of 40 hours per week).

Please note that the final offer will vary based on scheduled hours. Compensation for part-time or reduced schedules will be prorated based on scheduled weekly hours, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

I. Major Responsibilities:

1. Assists with evaluation, preparation, and after care of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, invasive vascular, or electrophysiology procedures.

2. Prepares, calibrates and operates all equipment used during procedures, including physiologic recorder, x-ray equipment, film processor and life support equipment.

3. Performs quality assurance and maintains related documentation for x-ray equipment, film processor and lead aprons.

4. Monitors documentation related to radiation exposure of HVIL staff.

5. Monitors records, processes and interprets intracardiac pressures & electrocardiographic signals during procedures.

II. Position Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education:

Required:

1. Associate degree

2. Certified Registered Radiology Technologist (RRT)

3. Certified in basic life support.

Experience/Skills:

Required:

1. 5 year’s experience in special procedures, radiographic imaging or equivalent.

2. Experience in advanced life support and surgical techniques.

Preferred:

1. Previous cardiac catheterization, invasive vascular, and/or electrophysiology laboratory experience is preferred.
