Job Description
We are always looking for interns in Autonomy, Robotics, Ocean Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Rapid Prototyping, Embedded Hardware/Firmware, and Data Engineering/Science. If you play in one or more of these fields and care about unlocking the economic and societal potential of our oceans, we want to talk to you!
Apeiron Labs is reimagining ocean monitoring by developing solutions to decrease the marginal cost and effort of ocean sensing by orders of magnitude.
Our oceans play a significant role in the global economy, weather, and long term climate trends. The Blue Economy is currently estimated at $1.5 trillion and expected to double by 2030. However, our real-time knowledge of the oceans is woefully incomplete. Existing and emerging markets require 4D ocean data - volumetric data over time - which is prohibitively expensive to acquire with today’s technologies. We need radically innovative approaches.
