General Summary

The Talent Acquisition Intern will support the recruitment team in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent across the organization. This internship provides hands-on experience in full-cycle recruiting, employer branding, candidate engagement, workforce planning, and university relations. The selected candidate will gain exposure to strategic talent acquisition initiatives while developing valuable HR and recruiting skills in a dynamic business environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist recruiters with sourcing and screening candidates for internship, entry-level, and experienced professional positions.
• Review resumes and support candidate qualification assessments.
• Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Help maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records and ensure data accuracy.
• Support career fairs, campus recruiting events, and employer branding initiatives.
• Participate in workforce planning and talent pipeline development activities.
• Research recruiting trends, competitor hiring practices, and talent market insights.
• Assist with internship program activities, onboarding events, and candidate experience initiatives.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and recruiting metrics for leadership review.
• Collaborate with HR, hiring managers, and business partners on talent acquisition projects.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams).
• Interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or organizational development.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship, campus leadership, customer service, or administrative experience.
• Experience using LinkedIn, Handshake, or other recruiting platforms.
• Interest in workforce strategy, employer branding, and talent analytics.
