Internal Pool - Registered Nurse (RN)

Requirements:

• Must be able to travel to Cedar Falls locations, Creekside in Grundy Center, Parkview in Reinbeck, and Grand JiVante in Ackley.  And other future locations of WHC.

• Full-time employees must work 3 self-scheduled weekend shifts a month OR choose an on-call weekend

• Part-time employees must work 2 self-scheduled shifts a month or choose an on-call weekend

• Must work 2 self-scheduled holidays

How you’ll impress us: 

• You will be willing to work in a team environment 

• You will be reliable and attend scheduled shifts 

• You will ensure resident's rights are adhered to

• You will coordinates preparation and planning of resident admission; giving proper recognition to the real and potential contribution of family and others in planning nursing care

• You will accurately administer all medications, treatments, and physician orders; taking ultimate responsibility for resident care

• You Provide for the emotional and physical comfort and safety of residents and emotional support to families  

• You can assist with supervising, assists, consulting with, and teaching certified nursing assistants

What you will need: 

• A positive attitude

• Reliable transportation

• Must possess a current active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.

• Experience/ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public.

• Prior RN experience is preferred, but not required.
