Job Description & Complexity

The Contracts Department is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Contracts Intern to support the accurate and timely processing of contract-related information. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity of contract data and supporting efficient departmental operations.

The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Essential Job Functions

• Accurately enter, update, and maintain contract data in internal systems.
• Review contract documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency prior to data entry.
• Organize and maintain digital and physical contract records to ensure information is readily accessible.
• Conduct routine data audits to identify and correct discrepancies and support compliance.
• Collaborate with Contracts Department team members to research and resolve data discrepancies.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive contract and company information.
• Perform other administrative and contract-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain focus and productivity when performing repetitive or detail-oriented tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current college student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, Contract Management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with basic contract concepts or demonstrated willingness to learn.
• Previous experience with data entry, administrative support, document management, or similar activities.

Job Expectations

• Work schedule of up to 35 hours per week, with flexibility based on department needs.
• Compensation range of $18.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Maintain consistent accuracy, attention to detail, and productivity in a deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and consistent communication with team members.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for assigned responsibilities.
• Handle confidential information professionally and appropriately.
