QualificationsWork Experience:
One year of sterile processing experience required or Certified Surgical Technician (CST) in an acute care setting or equivalent experience.
Education and Training:
High school graduate or equivalent. Two years of college or technical school preferred. College or technical school degree preferred.
Completion of a Surgical Technician Certification program is required for Certified Surgical Technologists (CST).
Certification:
Current Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification required.
