Inside Sales Rep

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Inside Sales Rep based in United States.

This is a remote inside sales role focused on acquiring, managing, and growing customer relationships while maximizing profitable sales opportunities.
You will support customers with hardware, software, and services solutions across the full sales and order lifecycle.
The role combines opportunity research, quoting, order management, customer service, and relationship development.
You will collaborate with engineering, vendors, manufacturers, and internal sales teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and account development will be essential for strengthening customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
You will also help expand existing accounts by identifying opportunities for additional products, services, warranties, accessories, and supplies.
Success in the role requires strong organization, communication, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities:

• Research and quote product and service sales opportunities using available resources to meet customer requirements while maintaining advantageous profit margins.
• Support project opportunities and recurring business, including quoting, ordering, open-order management, and post-order customer support.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on bill of materials (BOM) design and validation.
• Assist with deal registration and pricing negotiations while supporting profitable sales outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales through warranties, service offerings, accessories, supplies, and complementary products.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, including sales opportunities, engineering requests, and contract requests.
• Accurately execute and manage customer orders, coordinating activities to support successful delivery within customer expectations.
• Use customer portals to manage proposal requests, purchase order confirmations, shipping information, and other required activities.
• Proactively resolve customer and supplier issues while maintaining clear and professional communication.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers, vendors, and manufacturer partners.
• Identify opportunities to expand the business footprint within existing customer accounts.
• Prepare customer and sales reports as required and maintain a strong working knowledge of relevant products and services.
• Stay informed about vendor programs, promotions, and campaigns to effectively position products and services while supporting margin objectives.
• Maintain professional, respectful, and customer-focused communication in all internal and external interactions.

Requirements:

• A four-year degree is preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in the IT industry is preferred.
• 1+ year of sales or customer service experience.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and collaborative approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills for building lasting business relationships.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a strong focus on responsiveness and relationship building.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, products, tools, and business processes.
• Strong problem-solving and judgment skills, with the ability to determine appropriate courses of action.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to contribute to shared goals.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.

• Hourly base salary range of $19.23–$26.44, with final compensation determined by factors including job-related knowledge, experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
