JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager of Inside Sales will spearhead regional ISR support strategies while fostering the continuous professional growth of the team. The Manager of Inside Sales will work collaboratively across departments to innovate tools, refine processes, enhance communication, and boost the efficiency of inside sales operations. This role involves managing a team while actively performing individual ISR responsibilities, all with a focus on delivering an exceptional "Total Customer Experience" to our clients.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching for all direct reports to maintain an engaged, collaborative, and efficient communication and culture for the team
• Provide onboarding and training for new hires
• Work cross-functionally with regions to develop short-term or long-term strategic plans to solve for unique sales scenarios
• Work cross-functionally with regions to ensure ISR expectations, service level targets and escalation support are met
• Provide and implement actionable feedback and solutions to improve systems, processes, and tools in the sales administration process
• Manage inside sales operational performance through sales metrics, KPI’s, best practices, and workflows
• Review and accurately report on sales activities and value tracking for quotes, backlog, on-time accounts receivables management
• Refine and implement best practices and strategies for improving margins or driving increased revenue
• Uncover customer insights and identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction
• Suggest alternative products and solutions options based on cost, availability or specifications, as needed
• Accurately process customer transactions including quotes, orders, or returns
• Monitor and approve sales credits, price adjustments, and special allowances
  • Remain current on customer preferences and product portfolios
• Perform other ISR duties as assigned or necessary

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Jedi level Microsoft Excel skills
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in business administrations, supply chain, finance or technical degree preferred
• Eight to ten years of experience leading inside or outside sales teams; technology or reseller industry strongly preferred
• Management experience in a team-oriented workplace, outstanding interpersonal employee coaching and development skills
• Extensive experience in formulating vision and strategy for a sales team, including an excellent understanding of best practices for sales operations (KPIs, sales cycle, CRM applications, reporting, forecasting, and sales quotas)
• Proven ability to work with key stakeholders at client organizations and be able to recognize and analyze selling approaches, marketing programs, joint value propositions, and business cases around strategic partnerships
• Proven track record of effective inside sales capabilities and business development, including effective sales call planning and execution skills; business acumen to meet revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write clear, concise emails and speak effectively to multiple levels in an organization
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume, and evolving work environment
• Comfortable meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.Estimated Pay Range$130,000—$150,000 USD
