The Opportunity

• Our team has ambitious goals of changing the healthcare and venture landscape to ultimately transform lives.
• We are seeking 1-2 Venture Fellows to assist with key aspects of the investment process including deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio support.
• Fellows will conduct in-depth market research and deliver actionable insights through presentations and reports.
• Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities across health, wellness, and biotech infrastructure.
• Conduct rigorous diligence on prospective and follow-on investments, evaluating financials, key metrics, and growth opportunities.
• Explore targeted sectors, develop strategic insights, and create detailed market maps to inform investment strategy.
• Build authentic relationships with entrepreneurs and the broader healthcare ecosystem to source deals, identify trends, and generate new opportunities.
• Support our portfolio companies through various ad hoc projects.

Required Experience and Competencies

• Currently pursuing (or recently graduated with) an MBA, MD, MPH, or PhD with a strong interest in healthcare and technology.
• Can devote 10-15 hours per week to work with us.
• 2-6 years of experience in startups, VC/PE, investment banking, consulting, health system, health plan, etc.
• Demonstrated passion for startups, venture capital, and emerging technologies.
• Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis, financial modeling, and company valuation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $30.00 per hour, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible to participate in our annual corporate Success Sharing bonus program, which is based on the company’s annual performance. If you are hired at Vituity, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience.
