Summary
The caregiver will assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation while providing emotional support. They are also responsible for monitoring client health and reporting any changes to ensure quality of life.
Job Description
Join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential support to clients in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and linen changes
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
Requirements
- Prior experience working with elderly clients in a caregiving role is preferred
- Experience assisting seniors with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
- Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to clients with physical or cognitive limitations
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening prior to employment
- High school diploma or equivalent
