What You Will Do As a Caregiver with Better At Home, you will help our clients maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes. Your daily duties will include:

• Providing warm, meaningful companionship and conversation.
• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (including bathing, grooming, and toileting).
• Assisting with safe mobility inside and outside the home.
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals.
• Performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe environment.
• Conducting basic charting and written documentation of your shifts.

Requirements & Qualifications

• CPR Certification (Required): Must have current, up-to-date CPR training.
• Home Health Aide Certificate (Preferred): An HHA certificate or a similar home healthcare credential is preferred.
• Driver's License (Required): Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute within the Lake County area.
• Education (Required): High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience (Required): Minimum of one year of in-home care experience.
