In-home Caregiver

Village Caregiving in Bedford, PA is looking for a compassionate and dedicated In-home Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to our clients in their homes. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients, and fostering a positive and respectful environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide medication reminders 
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Document and report any changes in client’s condition
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to work with elderly or disabled individuals with patience and kindness
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
• Background check and drug screening may be required
