Implementation Consultant

About the Role

govSlackers is looking for an Implementation Consultant who is equally comfortable talking business strategy and technology. A go-getter with strong business acumen who can partner with customers, understand their operational challenges, and translate business needs into innovative solutions built on Slack. In this role you'll partner directly with customers, guiding them to rethink how work gets done using a modern work platform. Slack expertise is a plus, not a prerequisite: what matters most is curiosity, strong problem-solving instincts, and a genuine passion for delivering business outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Partner with customers to understand business goals, operational pain points, and workflow challenges
• Design and build solutions built on Slack’s AI powered platform to address real business problems, not just technical requirements
• Translate business requirements into practical implementation plans, working alongside other team members to bring solutions to life following our customer journey and design principles
• Define and track measurable success criteria for each engagement, ensuring delivered solutions create real, demonstrable impact
• Stay current on the evolving Slack/Salesforce ecosystem, including new AI-powered tools, and bring relevant innovations back to customer engagements
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with customers that extend beyond a single project

What We're Looking For

• Strong business acumen. We want you to be able to walk into conversations about strategic goals and immediately start thinking in solutions.
• A demonstrated ability to learn new technology quickly and translate it into customer value
• Excellent communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences, across project teams and executives alike 
• A collaborative mindset 
• Prior consulting, professional services, and client-facing solutions experience
• Experience with Slack or similar collaboration/workflow platforms
• Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem
• Experience with government or public-sector clients 

This role reports to the CEO.  This is primarily a remote position, but may require travel to customer sites, up to 30% of the time. This is a full-time, salaried position that offers comprehensive benefits and a salary range of $120,000 to $165,000 annually, plus bonus, based on level of consulting and Slack experience.
