Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Houston - Houston, TX 77079Salary Range: $23.00 - $30.00 HourlyJob Category: FacilitiesTMC Staffing is seeking HVAC Technicians to install, maintain, and repair climate control and refrigeration systems to ensure residential and commercial units operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
System Installation: Mount and connect HVAC components, such as compressors, condensers, evaporator coils, and ductwork according to technical blueprints and safety codes.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine tune-ups (e.g., cleaning ducts, replacing filters) and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools like multimeters.
Refrigerant Management: Handle, recover, and recycle refrigerants in strict compliance with EPA regulations.
Electrical Integration: Wire low-voltage connections, thermostats, and control systems linked to HVAC units.
Customer Service: Explain system issues, provide repair estimates, and sell maintenance service contracts to clients.
QualificationsRequirements:
High school diploma or GED, plus completion of an HVAC vocational program.
EPA 608 Certification (required for handling refrigerants).
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces like attics or crawl spaces.
