HVAC Manager

Job Details: Job Location: 14271 NW SCIENCE PARK DR - PORTLAND, OR, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Cornels Plumbing, Heating & Air is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead and develop our residential service team in the Portland market.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Leading, coaching, and developing our residential HVAC service technicians
Conducting weekly training, ride-alongs, call reviews, and individual coaching
Building a positive culture based on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Monitoring revenue, close rate, average ticket, callbacks, memberships, reviews, and lead conversion
Ensuring every customer receives a thorough evaluation and clearly explained options
Maintaining our fix-it-first mentality while identifying legitimate replacement opportunities
Partnering with dispatch, sales, installation, and customer service to create a seamless customer experience
Recruiting, onboarding, and retaining high-performing technicians
Resolving escalated customer concerns professionally
Maintaining safety, documentation, licensing, and quality-control standards

Job Type: Full-time
 Location: Portland, Oregon
 Compensation: $95,000 - $155,000 Salary + Bonus Potential
 Schedule: Monday - Friday
Qualifications: What We’re Looking For:

Residential HVAC service leadership experience
Strong technical knowledge of heating, cooling, heat pumps, airflow, and system diagnostics
A proven ability to coach technicians and improve measurable performance
A leader who can hold people accountable while earning their trust
Strong communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills
Comfort managing through KPIs and performance scorecards
A team-first attitude with consistent follow-through
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
