General
This is a Full-Time position reporting directly to the Manager of People Services & Manager of Talent Acquisition with interactions across all company employees, candidates, and visitors. The ideal candidate must be able to represent the company professionally, embodying its values and culture while collaborating with all levels of staff in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Stay informed about state and federal leave laws to ensure company policies remain compliant.
- Assist the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, and selecting qualified individuals for various roles as needed.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they understand the company policies, benefits, and operational procedures.
- Assist with document collection and file management for new hires and existing employees.
- Assist with HR software systems for tracking employee data and performance.
- Assist with New Hire and Staff Compliance, tracking and review.
- Use technology to improve HR functions.
- General HR duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- A minimum of two years of experience and/or education in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in typing with a minimum speed of 60 words per minute (WPM) with a high level of accuracy, ensuring efficient data entry, document preparation, and communication.
- Proven ability to assist with the recruitment process.
- Experience in assisting with the onboarding process for new hires.
- Proficiency in assisting with the collection, organization, and management of employee files and documentation.
- Knowledge and experience working with HR software systems.
- Familiarity with using technology to streamline and improve HR functions.
- Must be available to work in the office (flexible hours)
