The Human Resource Intern will support Valvoline Global Operations’ (VGO) HR teams. We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions through a structured rotational program. This internship provides exposure to Total Rewards, Organization Design, Talent Acquisition, and Data Analytics, allowing interns to develop a well-rounded understanding of HR operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to key HR initiatives.

What our internship provides:

• Paid on-site summer internship (up to 12 weeks) starting in May 2027

 Valvoline Global Operations Americas Headquarters is located in Cincinnati, OH. We prefer candidates willing to work an in-office work schedule (4x per week).

How You’ll Make an Impact

During the internship, you will rotate through the following HR functions:

1. Total Rewards:
• Assist with employee compensation and benefits programs.
• Support wellness initiatives and assist with benefits enrollment.
• Research industry trends related to compensation, benefits, and rewards strategies.
2. Organization Design:
• Support OD Team in analyzing and optimizing organizational structures.
• Assist in job analysis and role alignment.
• Contribute to change management.
3. Talent Acquisition:
• Assist with developing onboarding processes and new hire orientations. 
• Contribute to employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies.
4. Data Analytics:
• Support analysis of HR metrics.
• Assist in maintaining HR reports and dashboards using data visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in HR rotations and support each team with ongoing projects.
• Conduct research and contribute insights to enhance HR processes.
• Manage HR-related administrative tasks, including document processing and data entry.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive employee information.

What You’ll Need

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong interest in HR functions, particularly talent management, compensation, and organizational development.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HR software, HRIS, or data visualization tools is a plus
• Must be able to work on-site at VGO’s Cincinnati, OH headquarters.
