HR Assistant – Temporary Part-Time
Position Summary
The HR Assistant will provide temporary, part-time support to the HR team with day-to-day employee onboarding and administrative responsibilities. This position will assist with ensuring new employees complete required onboarding steps and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day employee onboarding processes
- Communicate with new employees regarding required paperwork and onboarding requirements
- Track completion of onboarding tasks and follow up on outstanding items
- Enter and maintain accurate employee information in HR systems
- Assist with pre-employment requirements, including background checks and drug testing
- Maintain organized and confidential employee records
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team
- Assist with other HR-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in HR, recruiting, onboarding, or administrative support preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience with Paylocity is a plus
Position Details
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 6 hours per day
Employment Type: Temporary
Duration: Through the end of 2026
