Data Entry Assistant

Summary 
Allied Global Marketing is looking for a temporary, part-time Data Entry Assistant to support our 4-person HR team for 6-8 weeks. This role will focus on downloading key documents from UKG and organizing them according to our established naming conventions and folder structure. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working independently on repetitive tasks, and able to maintain accuracy and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data.

This position reports into our Boston, MA office but can be remote from an eligible state. 

 
Essential Functions

• Downloads employee documents and records from UKG.

• Renames files according to established naming conventions.

• Saves and organizes files into the corresponding folders/systems.

• Verifies documents are complete, accurate, and correctly filed.

• Flags any missing, duplicate, or inconsistent documents to the HR team.

• Maintains confidentiality and integrity of sensitive employee data throughout the process.

• Performs other basic administrative or data entry duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail- the kind of person who catches a typo in a dense paragraph or spots the one inconsistency in a long list almost instinctively.

• HR or data entry experience is preferred but not required- willingness and ability to quickly learn a new HRIS system is the priority. 

• UKG/UltiPro and/or Rippling experience a plus but not necessary.

• Proficient with basic technical tasks: saving and renaming files, converting file formats, and navigating folder structures.

• Ability to understand and consistently apply file naming conventions with precision.

• Ability to handle sensitive information/data with discretion and confidentiality.

• Basic proficiency with MS Office suite.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Hours: 20-25 hours per week

• Compensation: $18.00/hour-$24.00/hour

• Term: 6-8 weeks

• Location: The ideal candidate is located in the Greater Boston area, with ability to work from our Boston office (101 Huntington Avenue). Remote candidates in eligible states will also be considered. 

• Background Check: The finalist for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check.
