Summary
The Housekeeping Technician ensures a clean and safe environment by performing cleaning, disinfecting, and trash removal in activity areas, rooms, and offices. They also assist with laundry services and perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed.
Job Description
This part-time position is two to three 4-hour evening shifts Monday-Friday, between the hours of 4:30p-10:00p, plus two 8-hour shifts every other weekend,between the hours of 5:30a-3:30p, for a total of 32-40 hours every 2-week period. The shift start and end times have some flexibility.
This position is part of a holiday rotation and may be scheduled 2-3 minor or major holidays per calendar year (with special holiday pay).
Housekeepers start at $16/hour with adjustments for previous experience. We do annual raises based on budget capacity, and you also have the opportunity for a discretionary bonus at your anniversary.

The rehabilitation process from a brain injury or other neurological condition is a 24/7 job for each person served, and Housekeeping Techs and the rest of our Facilities team ensure a clean and safe environment for them along the way.

What do Housekeeping Technicians do?
The Housekeeping Technician provides a full range of housekeeper services to ensure a clean and safe environment for our persons served to heal and rehabilitate in, including:
- cleaning, disinfecting, and trash removal in activity areas, person served rooms, and offices
- sweeping, mopping and dusting as needed
- assisting with Laundry Services as needed
